Foster Care Counts partnered with The Book Foundation in hosting a huge Mother’s Day Celebration to honor foster care mothers in Los Angeles.
Ruth Stalford, founder and CEO of The Book Foundation, states the mission as being, “To promote literacy and increase academic success by placing new books into the hands and homes of low-income and underserved children.” Â
Dollies Making A Difference contributed 100 colorful Teddy Bears to The Book Foundation’s booth, with the goal being that each child receives a brand new book AND a soft, cuddly Teddy Bear!
