Hearts with Hope, a Los Angeles based team of doctors who perform pediatric heart surgeries, together with nurses and volunteers who assist, has traveled for the 8th time to Arequipa, Peru.  Dollie Ambassador and Hearts with Hope director Andrea Boddicker brought with her a big box of our one-of-a-kind dollies and teddy bears, as well as crocheted caps and blankets made by ladies at the Culver City, Senior Center, and The Stitch by Stitch Group.
Andrea told us, “This little girl’s mother told us when she received the dollie, it was the first time she smiled all day!”
The children below live 6 hours away by bus from Arequipa, in a village on the Capachica peninsula by Lake Titicaca.
