A very special member of Dollies Making A Difference passed away this week, and we want to honor her with a blog post.  Beverly Delia will be remembered by everyone as an “enthusiastic” Dollie Lady!  Co-founder Dorothy Miyake knew Beverly from The Stitch by Stitch Club in nearby Santa Monica, CA.  From the very beginning of our formation, Beverly embraced the mission and fellowship of Dollies.  She crocheted hundreds of dollie blankets, and designed the pattern for our colorful teddy bear overalls.  She was always eager to contribute, asking, “What more can I do?”  Beverly was a Dollie Ambassador extraordinaire, spreading the good will of Dollies to whomever she met. Her joyful enthusiasm warmed our hearts, and we all feel blessed to have known her.  Something tells me that Beverly is now busy gathering angels around a Dollie’s table in heaven… xoxoxo
