Mir Pace, a teen volunteer group from Boston, took our dollies on a humanitarian trip to Tamahu, Guatemala. Dollie Ambassador Annette Quinn, a nurse from Dana Farber Cancer Institute who accompanied the teens emailed us this message, “Mir Pace has been working in Tamahu since 2003, and quite honestly, the only “toys” I have ever seen were kites made out of paper plates and tops made out of coke bottle tops with a nail driven through the center serving as the point of the top.  We distributed your dollies, and words defy the emotion and impact your dollies and teddys had on our little ones. “
