Every May, in partnership with Foster Care Counts, The Book Foundation celebrates the women throughout Los Angeles who selflessly serve as Foster mothers to children in need.  For the past three years, Dollies Making A Difference has contributed over 100 colorful Teddy Bears, so that children who reach for a brand new book with one hand, can grab a soft and cuddly Teddy Bear with the other!
LA Councilman Mike Bonnin-District 11, a parent of two foster children, was happy to hold a Teddy Bear while his son played close by!
