Nearly 100 doctors, nurses, and volunteers from Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles partnered with HELPS International on a medical mission trip to Guatemala. Â Palisadian Joanie Blanchard participated for the 14th time where she assisted in over 100 surgeries on children in need. This year Dollies Making A Difference (DMAD) not only sent Joanie with Dollies and Teddy Bears, but also awarded the team a $2000 DMAD financial grant to fund medications and vitamins.
