In May, many Dollie ladies attended an informative luncheon by partner organization International Medical Corps.  The speaker was Alex Bartolini, a community health manager who is based in Iraq, and travels between Turkey, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon co-ordinating health services to displaced families in the European refugee camps.  He was leaving the next morning to return to Iraq, and we jumped at the chance to send him with Dollies!  Just a few hours after his remarks, we were in his Santa Monica office handing him a big bag of Dollies to take to children in Iraq.
We just received a few wonderful photos today.  Children the world over seem to love hold a soft, cuddly, Dollie… and we love making this possible.
