Home of Hope India (HoH) was introduced to Dollies Making A Difference through Bill Simon, co-founder Cindy Simon’s husband, at a charitable event.  During the course of their friendly conversation, it turned out that the director of HoH, Paul Wilkes was a retired executive who had turned his energy and business-sense to philanthropy. With the support of many people who believe in the vision and hope of HoH, Paul and his team have built five (with more on the way!) orphanages, schools, and community empowerment centers for orphaned, abandoned and neglected girls in India. Their partners are the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, Roman Catholic nuns who have been serving and living with the poor since 1929.
