Dollie ladies Cindy and Lulu Simon embarked on a trip to Guatemala, to visit the colonial village of Antigua as well as Lake Atitlan. Â What a beautiful country – we want to go back!!
While in Antigua we were lucky enough to be Dollie Ambassadors at the Escuela Luis Mena Antigua, an elementary school right in the center of town. Â We arrived knocking on their door, and the principal was good enough to welcome us in and permit us to pass out our dollies and teddy bears to the children who were waiting to be picked up by their parents as it was Friday and school was out! Â This was the first time since co-founding Dollies Making A Difference in 2010 that Cindy actually was able to serve as a Dollie Ambassador. Cindy and Lulu experienced first hand the Dollie motto of “To Give is to Receive” !!!
