This year Pacific Palisades hosted its first ever community wide Turkey Trot. Proceeds benefitted our beloved Hearts with Hope recipient organization, so the Dollie ladies signed up in mass and got their friends to do so as well! Â This 5K race started and ended at Palisades High School football field, and wandered its way through the beautiful El Medio bluffs where we passed one scenic view after another on a sparkling sunny California morning.
Here are the Dollie ladies…and there were even a few more who missed the photo op! What a great turn out!
Dollie maker Cindy’s husband Bill rounded up more than a few of his work-out buddies to join the Dollies in supporting Hearts with Hope.
A few of us even were able to entice our young adult kids to get up at the crack of dawn and join in the Turkey Trot. Â Here is Teresa with marvelous Madison (in from Nashville, TN)
Sara and hubby John are thrilled to have daughter charming Caroline in from NYC.
Denise and son Jamie (from nearby Santa Monica) joined in race…oh is that a movie star almost running over John Kutler?
Denise’s sister in law Cindy from Chilly Chicago flew in for the holiday.  You will remember that Cindy is the same lady who Denise purchased the beautiful flower bra for.
All in all a great time was had by all…and from the turnout I venture to say a lot of money AND awareness was raised for Hearts with Hope.
