Children’s Surgery International, is a Minnesota-based, non-profit volunteer organization whose focus is to serve the underprivileged of the world by providing specialized medical and surgical services to children in need. They just returned from a trip to Hermosillo, Mexico, where they distributed our dollies and colorful teddy bears to the young patients.  Hermosillo is one of the largest cities in Mexico with a population of 850,000 people, located south of Tucson, AZ . The major manufacturing sector is automobiles, which began in the mid 1980s, when Ford Automotive built a large assembly plant there.

This was the fifth time we have sent dollies and colorful teddy bears on a medical mission with Children’s Surgery International!  The nurses sent us this message:

“Our team was busy in surgery again today. Here are some pictures of some of our patients and also our team. The dollies were donated by a wonderful group of women in California called Dollies Making A Difference.  Another successful mission! We are looking forward to our 10th mission next year.
