Thanks to Dollie lady Marsha Beaver, we connected with Deborah Eads, the Child Life Specialist at Children’s Hospital of Illinois, in Peoria Illinois. Â We are always on the lookout for ways to serve children here in the United States, as well as those far far away.
Children’s Hospital of Illinois at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is the only full service tertiary hospital for kids in downstate Illinois. With 127 beds and over 75 pediatric subspecialists, Children’s Hospital cares for more children in Illinois than any hospital outside of Chicago. As the first designated Pediatric Critical Care Center in the state of Illinois, a Level I Trauma Center and Central Illinois’ only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), they treat the most severely injured and ill children.Â
