Dollie maker Deirdre Roney introduced us to her friend Suzanne Del Rio who would soon be embarking on a humanitarian trip to her home country of South Africa.  One of the countries she and her fellow travelers would be visiting is Namibia, and within that country they would visit the town of Tsumeb, a mining town of 15,000 people in the northern part of the country.    Suzanne was excited to be taking our dollies and teddys to children at a safe haven shelter for women who have suffered abuse.
