Dollie Makers Mia Grindon and her mother Chantal Prunier traveled this summer on a humanitarian trip to several countries in Asia, including North Korea and China. Mia reported to us that they took dollies and colorful teddy bears and distributed them to children in an orphanage in North Korea, and to children in a “remote summer camp in the mountains of Qinghai Province (near Gansu Province) where nomads keep their yaks in the summer and live in tents.  The families here are very poor, and the children especially have almost no personal belongings.”Â
